Playing music during a yoga practice can have a powerful impact on your mood and energy. Listening to music in the background can relax your mind and body, which helps to relax you further in your stretching. Do you want to feel more energetic for an active yoga practice? My personal favorites have been Indian yoga music, mantra and chants that sound earthy and soft. The playlist has a collection of songs that I play during my teaching classes and also during my own practice. Depending on the form of yoga and the time of day, I change the songs around and so there is no set playlist for every type of Yoga.
