I have been taking yoga sessions with Shikha with an aim to get physically strong and agile. She has helped me get my alignment correct every time I try different asana by working through various postures, I feel my spine has become straight and long. Every time I have a question, She gives complete details and explains the minor technicality which are most important to do the asana correctly. Her deep understanding of yoga postures is exceptional with her creative approach of taking the session to an intense level which stays in the body long after class is over. I’m always surprised at how quickly the 60 minutes fly past and how much I enjoy them. It is an amazing experience to be her student.

In the short span of time I have had the privilege of being trained by Shikha it was an amazing experience. Being new to yoga with flexibility almost none she planned the class in a way that would cater to my limitations. Within the first few classes I could feel the difference with my muscles opening up and this was only possible with her efforts. Mindful and productive sessions. Shikha literally takes your body further, very gently pushes you to discover its limits just to see that it doesn’t have any. I wouldn’t be able to do as much without her knowledgeable support. By saying “knowledgeable” I mean her awareness about authentic yoga traditions, knowledge of how body works and what it needs depending on its current state.
