I started this classes in summer, with no yoga experience. Immediately fell in love with the way the instructor explains the positions and adapts the difficulty level according to the participants capabilities. It's a pleasure to join this classes. Also appreciate the flexibility in schedule and location. According to situation, we practice outside, in a studio, or even from home- in oline sessions. Definitely recommend this class, no matter you are a beginner or have some experience.

Afgelopen zomer werd ik door een vriendin meegevraagd om een les bij Shikha te proberen. Sinds dien haak ik iedere week met veel plezier aan bij de lessen en merk dat mijn balans en flexibiliteit enorm vooruit zijn gegaan. Shihka kijkt mee met wat je doet (zelfs online i.v.m covid) geeft duidelijke en persoonlijke instructies en helpt je waar nodig. Ze geeft heldere uitleg over de poses, waar je de stretch moet voelen en hoe dit je lichaam helpt. Op deze manier is het iedere week heerlijk een moment ontspannen en genieten.

Een van de beste yogalessen ooit bij Yogastha wordt aangeboden door Shikha! Zou ze graag aan iedereen aanbevelen! Ze is echt een bewuste en rustige yogaleraar die je helpt en begeleidt door het proces, zelfs als de lessen online zijn! Sommige lessen zijn voor beginners en sommige kunnen erg uitdagend zijn, maar aan het eind van de week voelt je lichaam verbazingwekkend sterk aan! Ik hou van het gevoel! First time I tried Yoga, it was with Shikha, and I got hooked instantly. For me she's been not only an instructor, but a mentor, motivator and a source of inspiration. I take her classes every day and each class is different. She pushes you beyond your limits but can also take into account your personal conditions/injuries or goals. She explains the philosophy, the benefits and the purpose of different poses and practices, which makes you dive into yoga's transformational power and, most importantly, she extrapolates it to your daily life (how the practice of yoga can positively reflect in your life). Apart from the scheduled classes she's always happy to provide advice, next steps for you, or recommendations.

I have been taking yoga sessions with Shikha with an aim to get physically strong and agile. She has helped me get my alignment correct every time I try different asana by working through various postures, I feel my spine has become straight and long. Every time I have a question, She gives complete details and explains the minor technicality which are most important to do the asana correctly. Her deep understanding of yoga postures is exceptional with her creative approach of taking the session to an intense level which stays in the body long after class is over. I’m always surprised at how quickly the 60 minutes fly past and how much I enjoy them. It is an amazing experience to be her student

I started practicing Yoga a month ago and I really enjoy the various forms of yoga sessions, offered by Yogastha. Shikha thoroughly explains every pose, considering the level of each participant and corrects the poses if required. Through the online sessions, I can now practice yoga from everywhere. It is a highlight after a long working day, sitting in front of a computer. I can easily recommend it to everyone!

I started the online yoga practice with Shikha about a month ago. Shikha is a very professional yoga teacher, and she is caring, patient, encourging and passionate. She has various yoga classes to choose from, like leg stretch, flow etc. I highly recommend to give it a try!

I know working out obviously helps with overall fatigue. I'm at my desk juggling between work, cooking fresh meals at home and bringing up a kid, so it gets difficult to find the time. I found YOGASTHA, It allows me to do online yoga from literally anywhere in the world and at anytime, am located in Hong Kong. In the short span of time I have had the privilege of being trained by Shikha it was an amazing experience. Being new to yoga with flexibility almost none she planned the class in a way that would cater to my limitations. Within the first few classes I could feel the difference with my muscles opening up and this was only possible with her efforts. Mindful and productive sessions. Shikha literally takes your body further, very gently pushes you to discover its limits just to see that it doesn’t have any. I wouldn’t be able to do as much without her knowledgeable support. By saying “knowledgeable” I mean her awareness about authentic yoga traditions, knowledge of how body works and what it needs depending on its current state.
